Eh, Wussup Braddah's & Sista's my name is Ryan and I am from Kailua, O'ahu. I started to Freedive about 6 years ago with some of my friends that I worked with (Ross, Luis, Dennis, Derrick and Cyd) and then we started to really get into it so we used to go after work, and on weekends and also go on night dives out at Makapuu in Waimanalo. Then we added some new friends to our Dive Crew (Sonny, John, Kip and Howard). We dive all over the Island depending on where the surf conditions are good for diving. Our usual places are Makapuu (Waimanalo), Lanikai (Twin Islands) Kahuku, Sunset, Pupukea (3 tables), Waianae (Kahi Point) and sometimes Kaneohe Bay if I take my boat out.... I bought me my first spear gun which was a Mini Magnum, but the gun never had enough range for the fish I was targeting, but at the time I think it was just me, and another excuse for me to get another gun. So I went to Maui Sporting Goods in Kapahulu and seen the Hawaiian Riffe Gun and the staff was very helpful in helping me determine the differences in the guns and then I was determined I had to get it.. And I did..But still the fish were out of range (well you know what I mean) I told my wife that the Riffe would be my last speargun but just 2 weeks ago me and my friend Ross stopped by Aarons Dive Shop in Kailua and we saw the Riffe Metal Tech gun and we both looked at each other and said we gotta get um.. Well we both did that day..And then we got kayaks I bought a Scupper Classic and Ross bought a Dolphin Kayak , so lately where ever we go diving we take our kayaks also.. This past weekend we went out to Twin Islands got some fish but the water was dirty....
